The COVID-19 pandemic has caused us to change how we normally conduct digitization operations at Texas Tech University. With our student worker pool reduced by 66%, we needed to find ways to increase the efficiency of our productivity. The clear candidate for this was to reduce the idle time of our processing when students are using Photoshop, PDF, and OCR operations. This lightning talk will quickly go over the options we have considered and have implemented to increase our digitization lab efficiency.
