This panel discussion will review the way collection development librarians at UNT have designed ongoing assessment and augmentation of the research collection in a holistic manner. The approach includes dividing the collection into subjects, creating a means to include interdisciplinary resources, scheduling assessments over time, implementing infrastructure changes in order to use assessment data and analyses effectively, and allocating resources to enhance subject areas by addressing gaps identified during the evaluation process. The program will include examples of completed collection enhancements and conclude with a question-and-answer segment.en_US
