Researchers conducted a qualitative content analysis of university websites is being conducted to determine the policies and resources specific to parenting students at universities with HDFS programs. Universities were selected randomly from two lists of schools (one of NCFR’s CFLE programs and a list of HDFS doctoral programs). The recent supreme court decision overturning Roe v. Wade brings to the forefront the increased need for parental support, considering the number of states restricting access to parenting choices intensified our push for more parenting-friendly policies and support in higher education.
