A nonexperimental, descriptive design was utilized to determine nurses' attitudes toward cancer; 47 oncology nurses selected by convenience sampling completed an attitude inventory . The attitude inventory administered to the oncology nurses was the Cancer Attitude Inventory developed by Donovan, Hohloch , and coulson . Using descriptive statistics, it was determined that oncology nurses possess favorable attitudes toward cancer.
