Tanner, Sue2023-03-032023-03-031986-12https://hdl.handle.net/11274/14574This nonexperimental descriptive study was done to determine if there was a relationship between level of anxiety and pattern of behavior prior to a diagnosis of a stress-related illness in executives. The sample included 30 executives from three different companies. Tools utilized included the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory to assess level of anxiety, the Bortner Rating Scale to assess pattern of behavior, and a demographic data sheet. Statistical analysis was achieved by calculation of a chi-square, Mann-Whitney U, and Wilcoxin Rank Sum W test. Results of the data analysis indicated no relationship existed between level of anxiety and pattern of behavior in this group of executives.en-USThesis
