Data were analysed by means of F-tests and the Pearson product-moment correlation technique. The results indicated that marital adjustment was enhanced by positive interpersonal relationships, education, and income. A significant relationship was found among the following variables: (a) marital adjustment and wanted affection; (b) marital adjustment and income; (c) expressed control and income; (d) marital adjustment, interpersonal needs, and education among the Master's group; and (e) marital adjustment, interpersonal needs, and income among the low combined income category.en-USWomen graduate studentsMarriageInterpersonal relationsMarried womenPerceived marital adjustment of women with advanced degrees as related to their interpersonal relationshipsDissertation
