The participants were 42 adolescent females. Fourteen (33%) of the adolescent females were using birth control pills and 28 (67%) were not. The instrument used to collect data was the Knowledge of Oral Contraceptives, developed by the researcher, and administered in January 1993 to February 1993. The t-test was used to analyze the data.
