In this presentation, we will show the results of a combination of Surfaceenhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) and High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) of four drugs, Cisplatin, Carboplatin, Oxaliplatin and Nedaplatin with various DNA sequences. Studies examining modifications in the DNA in the presence of each drug under various experimental conditions such as drug:DNA ratios, pH, temperatures, and incubation periods of DNA and drug will also be discussed. Overall, our results showed that Carboplatin is the least effective drug when binding to DNA, while Cisplatin and Oxaliplatin significantly modify DNA.en-USSpectroscopic and Chromatographic Analysis of DNA Modifications in the Presence of Platinum-Based DrugsPoster
