Storytelling with Data: A Hands-on Workshop for Beginners

Your research data tells a story! Interactive data visualization is about communicating your insights and research effectively, giving your data a voice. Please join the TWU Libraries and Rafia Mirza, MSI (Southern Methodist University), for a virtual hands-on workshop about data visualization using no-cost Tableau software. At this workshop you will learn about: ·Best practices in data visualization ·Data visualization tools ·Tableau basics through demonstration and hands-on learning Presenter: Rafia Mirza, MSI Rafia is the Humanities Research Librarian at SMU’s Fondren Library. She is the Coordinator of SMU’s Digital Humanities Research Institute and is a leader in digital humanities, digital project planning, and digital pedagogy.
