Abstract

Following their efforts during World War I, many American women had more significant roles in society, and the suffrage movement had empowered all women to have more political freedom. But how did these changes affect women's social life? And did these changes involve most women, or just younger women or those in major urban communities? We will research newspapers, magazines, and the TWU archives to discover what, and who, shared in this jazz age liberation.
